My name is Laura Lozano

I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. Most of my family is from Guadalajara.  I am currently a senior in high school. I would like to go into the Medical field. I would like to be a nurse.

I want to be Queen because I believe I am a good role model to young girls. I have very good manners, I come from a very well respected family, I have very high goals for my self, and most importantly I know how to respect myself and others. I believe that young girls need someone like me to guide them to the correct way to carry themselves.

I've learned from past experiences that you won't get everything in life. However that does not mean that you failed at what you were aiming for. Failing is when you give up on yourself and have a loosing attitude. A very important thing that young girls need to learn is that as long as you give it your all, you will never fail. In my case, it doesn't matter if i win or loose as queen. I believe that i gave it my all and that is all that matters to me.

A role model to me would be someone who carries themselves with respect, someone who can talk to others and listen to what they have to say. Someone who will not only say that they have good intentions but proof to others that they do.

My advice to young girls who have some kind of trouble in life would be to always believe in yourself. There is always going to be people who will try to bring you down and tell you wrong, but you can't let those people get to you because only you know what makes you happy or what makes you feel good about yourself.
